Overview

Stretching some 2880 miles down the Pacific coast, but in width only averaging 100 miles from the Andes to the Pacific. This narrow country has much to offer from the Atacama Desert in the north, the ever more popular Chilean vineyards in the central valley and the Patagonian glaciers and fjords in the south. Off its coast lies Polynesian Easter Island, with it’s Moai statues, a unique and mysterious place to visit.

Iconic parks such as Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia portray a Chile which is infinitely beautiful and wild. The first European seafarers came here over 500 years ago and it remains an unspoilt wilderness of imposing glaciers and crystal-clear waters.

The Atacama, the driest desert on earth, attracts visitors to explore the breath taking landscapes and natural wonders including the salt flats, hot springs and geysers. The charming lodges allow travellers to relax and unwind after a day out exploring the surrounding beauty. This region combines well crossing over-land into northern Argentina or Bolivia.

In addition to the excitements of Patagonia and Atacama, the tranquility of the winelands in the central valley offer relaxation in delightful colonial haciendas or boutique lodges with the opportunity to sample the regions finest wines.
